I know, I'm so behind in this! But I wanted to share these pictures! Here is the final group from our wonderful trip! We went down to Cedar City and got to spend some wonderful time with Mom and Dad Oliver.
We had a wonderful time in Cedar City! We relaxed on the porch and watched the hummingbirds every day! The kids went on some wonderful "hikes" with Grandpa and Grandma. They made cookies and of course, cinnamon rolls. We stayed up SOOOO Late every night watching the Olympics together. We watched some GREAT movies together-"Phantom", "Jumanji", and "Miss Potter". Phantom was already an adult favorite, but the other two are now added to our library and have been watched many, many times already! We completed a cool Candy Bar puzzle. We had to go to Discovery Park, even in 105 degree weather. We had a delicious steak dinner to celebrate Dads and my birthdays. And you CANT go to Cedar in the summer and Not go to the Shakespeare festival!
Spence and I got to see "Cyrano de Bergerac" in the Outdoor Theatre and it was wonderful! I had never seen it, but sort of knew the storyline from the movie with Steve Martin called "Roxanne". I was blown away! The acting was incredible and I even cried...twice! We really enjoyed it and really appreciated Mom and Dad for recommending it and for watching the kids so we could go!
The week was at an end and we had to make the long drive home! Now that Spence was with us, we really didn't want to leave! But we had to say Goodbye! :(
It was a good trip home. We got to stay in Twin Falls, ID and got to see the Beautiful temple there. As we drove closer to it we saw like 8 or 9 Hawks circling above it. It was really cool! A very kind lady stopped and offered to take our picture as it was closed, being Sunday. It was very nice. Erin didn't understand why the temple would be closed on Sunday. "Surely going to the Temple is a 'good Sunday Activity'" She is awesome!
It was a long drive, but we made it home and were soooo excited to be here!
